President
Dr Lim Wei Shan
Dr Lim taught A Level chemistry at Kenward's for twelve years before moving into academic leadership. She leads the college's teaching and learning strategy and still sits on the scholarship interview panel each year.
Kenward's began in 1971 as a tuition class above a shophouse on Burmah Road. The founder's idea was simple: a Penang student should not have to leave the island to get a pre-university education that opens doors anywhere.Read the full message
Executive Management Committee
Tan Chee Keong
Chief Executive, Kenward's Education
Oversees the college and residence operations. A Penang-born accountant who joined the board in 2009.
Khoo Pei Ling
Chief Operating Officer
Runs campus operations, admissions and student services, and led the move to the Seafront Campus.
Ahmad Faizal bin Rahman
Chief Financial Officer
Manages college finances and the scholarship fund, and chairs the fee review committee.
Dr Ong Siew Hoon
Chief Academic Officer
Leads programme quality, accreditation and lecturer development across all three schools.
Ravindran Pillai
Director, Student Experience
Looks after counselling, clubs, the residence and international student support.
Academic Management Group
Chew Li Ying
Head, School of Pre-University Studies
Former A Level mathematics lecturer. Leads the A Level, SACE and Foundation teams.
Goh Boon Hock
Head, School of Diploma Studies
Built the diploma internship programme with Penang employers.
Nurul Ain binti Ismail
Head, School of Professional Studies
Chartered accountant who leads ACCA and ACCA FIA teaching.
Dr Teoh Kah Meng
Head, University Placement Services
Leads university applications to Malaysia, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.
Governance
Kenward's College is run on a not-for-profit basis by Kenward's Education Sdn. Bhd. Surpluses are reinvested in facilities, teaching and the Kenward Lim Bursary.
