Rankings are the first thing most families look at, and the least useful on their own. Our placement counsellors start with four questions instead.
1. Does the course fit what you want to study?
Two courses with the same name can be very different. Read the module list for each year, check how much is coursework and how much is exams, and look for placements or a year abroad if they matter to you.
2. What will it cost in total?
Add tuition, accommodation, flights, health cover and living costs for every year of the course. Then compare the total in ringgit, not the headline fee. Our counsellors keep a simple spreadsheet for this and will fill it in with you.

3. Do your results meet the entry rules?
Check the exact subjects and grades the course asks for, not just the overall requirement. A Level, SACE and foundation students are assessed differently, so check the rule for your qualification.
4. What support will you get?
Look for international student services, guaranteed first-year housing and a clear way to get academic help. Ask current students what the first term was like.

If you are a Kenward's student, book a session with University Placement Services. If you are still choosing a pre-university programme, come to Open Day and ask us how each one fits the universities you have in mind.
