An honest note

By law, only registered dental professionals may whiten teeth in the UK. Products contain no more than 6% hydrogen peroxide, the first application is carried out by a dentist, and whitening is not provided to under-18s except to treat disease. Whitening is a top-up treatment — colour naturally fades and benefits from occasional refreshing.

Is whitening safe?
Yes, when supervised by a dental professional with regulated gel. Some temporary sensitivity is normal.
How long does it last?
Typically 12–24 months before a top-up, depending on coffee, wine and smoking. The Longevity Forecast estimates yours.
Will it whiten my bonding or veneers?
No — whitening only lightens natural teeth. That is why we whiten first, then match new work to the brighter shade.
