The school choir’s annual concert, "Harbour Lights", sold all 600 seats in the main hall for both of its nights in July.
The programme mixed Chinese folk songs, Malay classics and a closing piece written by Senior 3 student Lim Xin Yi.

Xin Yi wrote "Harbour Lights" about the view of the channel from her grandmother’s flat. The choir rehearsed it for three months.
"Hearing ninety people sing something I wrote at home was strange," she said. "Good strange."
