The lion dance team has started training on poles this term, two years after it was formed.
The school bought new safety mats over the summer, and training only takes place with a qualified coach present.
Safety first
Training starts on poles 1 metre high. Dancers move up only after passing a skills check set by the coach.
"Parents asked us about safety, so we wrote it all down," said Deputy Principal Mr Lim Boon Keat. "The rules are on the parents’ portal."
