The old woodwork room in Block C has become the school’s makerspace, with four 3D printers, a laser cutter, a robotics bay and 32 workstations.
It opened at the start of this term and already has a waiting list for after-school sessions.
Used in lessons, not just clubs
Design and technology, physics and art classes all book the space. Junior 3 students printed their first prototypes in week two.
"We used to draw our designs. Now we hold them by the end of the lesson," said Junior 3 student Aisyah Rahman.

Robotics after school
The robotics club meets in the space on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is building a robot for an inter-school competition in March.
