Jade House won the overall shield at Sports Day on Saturday, Aug. 22, finishing four points ahead of Coral House after 46 events.
Two school records fell, both in the morning sessions on the track.
Two new records
Senior 2 student Muhammad Irfan set a new boys’ 100m record of 11.38 seconds. In the girls’ 1500m, Junior 3 student Chloe Yeap took nine seconds off a record that had stood since 2014.
"I didn’t look at the clock," said Chloe. "I just tried not to let anyone pass me on the last bend."
A day for families
Parents ran their own 4x50m relay at lunchtime, won by the Junior 2 parents, and the PTA ran a drinks stall that raised RM2,400 for the library.
