Old botanicals, made new

Nova began in a small kitchen in Bangsar, with a box of dried herbs carried down from a grandmother's garden in the Cameron Highlands. Rachel Lai, a certified aromatherapist and skincare formulator, had spent years reaching for products for her own reactive skin and for her two young children, Ethan and Chloe, and finding that the gentle ones did too little and the effective ones stung.

So she started blending her own. She called it Nova, for the way good skincare works quietly and then, one morning, simply shows: skin that looks renewed, calmer, more itself. The belief behind it was simple, that real care and balance begin at home, with plants your body already knows how to use.

Nova pairs that heritage with modern skincare knowledge. Our formulas are built on natural and organic ingredients, plant oils, fruit extracts, mineral clays and floral waters, chosen alongside carefully selected vitamins and antioxidants. Every ingredient is picked for safety and skin compatibility, so the products are gentle enough for daily use while still delivering visible, healthy-looking results.

We are a small team, still formulating in Kuala Lumpur, still testing everything on our own families first. Our mission has not changed since that first kitchen batch: to make nature-led skincare approachable and reliable, so anyone can care for their skin, and their family's, with confidence and ease.
