No one should face a criminal charge unsure what it will cost. We are upfront about fees from the first conversation.
Your first consultation is free
Phone or in person, at our Brisbane or Southport office. We explain your charge, your options and likely costs before you commit to anything.
Fixed fees for most charges
For the majority of matters we quote a fixed fee in writing, so you know the cost upfront with no hourly surprises. The fee reflects the charge and how the matter is likely to run.
Staged fees for serious matters
For indictable matters that move through committal and trial, we fee each stage separately, so you only pay for the stage you are at and can decide as the matter progresses.
Legal aid and duty lawyers
You may be eligible for Legal Aid Queensland, or assistance from the duty lawyer at court. We will tell you if you qualify — even if that means the work is not ours.
