Harlowe Vane is a specialist criminal-defence firm. Criminal and traffic law is all we do — and we do it in every court in Queensland.
Marcus Harlowe founded the firm in 2008 after seven years prosecuting for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. He had seen how cases were built — and how often a well-prepared defence could take them apart. He set out to build a firm that did one thing, and did it at the highest level.
Nearly two decades on, Harlowe Vane runs matters from first-offence drink-driving in the Magistrates Court to murder and trafficking in the Supreme Court. Two of our directors are Accredited Specialists in criminal law, a credential held by only a small number of Queensland solicitors.
What has not changed is the approach: honest advice, exhaustive preparation, and a refusal to treat any client as just another file. When your freedom, your record or your livelihood is on the line, that is the difference that matters.
