“Cases are won in preparation, not in the courtroom. By the time we stand up, we already know the brief better than anyone in the room.”
About Priya
Priya leads the firm's serious drug and commercial-crime practice. She is known for meticulous committal advocacy — testing the Crown case, witness by witness, before it ever reaches a jury — and for finding the weakness in a brief that others have read a dozen times and missed.
Her matters are often built on telephone intercepts, surveillance and the evidence of alleged associates. Priya interrogates that material line by line, and has seen trafficking allegations fall away to far lesser charges once the evidence is properly put to the test.
She has argued matters in the Court of Appeal and advises on confiscation and proceeds-of-crime proceedings that frequently run alongside serious drug charges. Clients value her calm, exhaustively prepared approach at the moments that matter most.
How Priya works with clients
- Reads every page of the brief herself — nothing is delegated on the serious matters.
- Runs committals hard, because a case tested early is a case resolved early.
- Keeps clients informed in plain language at every step of a long matter.
