Build a construction-disputes practice
We are a small firm doing serious work. If you want depth in construction law rather than a little of everything, we would like to hear from you.
Who we look for
We hire lawyers and pupils who are genuinely interested in construction and in dispute resolution — people who are comfortable with a contract and a programme, who are meticulous about deadlines, and who would rather go deep in one field than skim across many. A background in engineering, quantity surveying or the built environment is welcome but not required.
Pupillage
Our pupils are given real responsibility early: drafting payment claims and submissions, sitting in on adjudications and arbitrations, and running the statutory diary under a partner’s supervision. You will learn the mechanics of CIPAA from the inside.
Experienced hires
We periodically have room for legal assistants with construction or general-disputes experience who want to specialise. If that is you, tell us what you have worked on.
How to apply
Write to careers@teohdanaraj.my with your CV and a short note on why construction disputes interest you. We read every application and reply to those we would like to meet.
A payment claim just landed? The clock has already started.
Construction disputes run on deadlines — statutory and contractual. Tell us where you are and we will tell you, plainly, what your position is and what the next working days require. The first conversation is complimentary.
