How to layer actives without wrecking your skin
The single most common mistake in an actives routine is using too much, too soon, in the wrong order. Here is the honest version.

The rule that matters most is order: thinnest to thickest. Cleanse, then water-based serums, then oils and creams, then SPF in the morning. Everything else is detail.
The second rule is separation. Some actives are simply not friends. Retinoids and direct acids (glycolic, salicylic) should not share a routine, because together they over-exfoliate and inflame. Alternate them on different nights instead.
Vitamin C and niacinamide, despite years of internet warnings, are fine together. The old myth came from unstable lab conditions that do not reflect a finished formula. Use both if you like.
Start low. One new active at a time, two or three nights a week, for two weeks, before you add the next. If your skin stings, flakes or reddens, you are going too fast, not too weak.
Every Kadar product page carries a Formulation Compatibility Tool. Tell it what else you use and it will flag anything that should not share a routine.
