What full-arch (All-on-4) treatment really involves — and what it costs

Full-arch treatment — often marketed as 'All-on-4' or 'teeth in a day' — replaces an entire arch of failing or missing teeth with a fixed bridge supported by as few as four implants. It is life-changing for the right patient, and it is frequently oversold. Here is the honest version.

Who it is for

Full-arch treatment suits people with a whole arch of broken, failing or missing teeth, advanced gum disease, or long-term denture wearers who want teeth that stay in. If you have some healthy teeth worth saving, we will usually look at saving them first.

The day of surgery

We plan the whole case from a CBCT scan beforehand — implant positions and final teeth designed together. On the day, the failing teeth are removed, the implants placed (guided by a printed surgical guide), and a fixed provisional set of teeth attached. You leave with teeth. This is the 'teeth in a day' part, and it is real — but the provisional set is not the finished article.

The healing months

Over the next four to six months the implants integrate with the bone. You wear the fixed provisional throughout — it is not removable at home. Once healing is complete, we fit the definitive prosthesis, which is stronger, more refined and made to the final design.

The honest numbers
