Elena Voss founded Axis Smile Studio on a simple conviction: patients should be able to see and approve their smile before anyone touches a tooth. After earning her DDS at the University of Michigan and completing accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry — a credential held by only a few hundred dentists in the country — she built the studio's Axis Method around 3D design and the wearable trial smile.
She leads the studio's veneer and smile-makeover cases personally, working with a dedicated ceramist to layer porcelain by hand. Her approach is deliberately restrained: she is as likely to recommend aligners and a little bonding as a full set of veneers, because the best cosmetic dentistry is the least a case needs.
