Camille grew up in Montréal’s Villeray, the granddaughter of a war-era arrival from Normandy whose landing card still hangs framed in the firm’s boardroom. She took her B.C.L./LL.B. at McGill, moved to Toronto for an appellate clerkship, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011.
She leads Osei Fortin’s family-reunification and appeals practice: spousal and common-law sponsorship, parents and grandparents, and the sponsorship appeals that follow refusals at the Immigration Appeal Division. Colleagues describe her cross-examinations as quietly surgical; clients mostly remember that she returned their calls the same day.
Camille practises in both official languages and appears before the IAD, the Refugee Protection Division and the Federal Court. She sits on a Law Society working group on access to justice for self-represented litigants and co-authors the firm’s submissions on proposed IRPR amendments.
