Daniel Almeida
LL.B. (Universidade de São Paulo) · NCA qualification · Called to the Ontario Bar, 2019
Daniel practised corporate law in São Paulo before requalifying in Canada through the National Committee on Accreditation — an eighteen-month bridge he describes as the best empathy training an immigration lawyer can have. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.
He acts for employers and skilled workers on the full permit spectrum: LMIA-based streams, LMIA-exempt intra-company transfers, CUSMA professionals, francophone-mobility and post-graduation work permits. His employer clients range from a two-person Etobicoke machine shop to a listed technology company moving engineering teams into its Toronto hub.
Daniel co-ordinates the firm’s business-immigration files, including owner-operator strategies and start-up structuring alongside corporate counsel.
“I rewrote my own credentials for this country. Your file gets that same patience.”
