The free callback — 15 minutes
You book a slot (two clicks on this site) and a lawyer calls you. You talk, we listen, and you leave the call knowing three things: which route your matter takes, roughly how long, and roughly what it costs. Sometimes the honest answer is that you don’t need a lawyer yet — we say that too, and often.
The first consultation — RM280, 45 minutes
With the lawyer who would actually handle your matter, not a salesperson. Bring your documents and your questions. You leave with a written note of your route, your personalised roadmap, and an exact fee — fixed or staged. The RM280 is credited in full against your fees if you engage us within 30 days.
Engagement — in writing, always
A letter of engagement sets out scope, fee, stages and who has your file. No retainer exists until this letter is signed — which also means no surprise bills before it.
The work — settle first, fight properly
Mediation and negotiation wherever safe and sensible; court prepared thoroughly when needed. You get updates at every milestone, your calls returned within one working day, and no step taken that wasn’t in the plan you approved.
Closing the file
Orders registered, documents delivered, a closing letter that says exactly what was done and what (if anything) to watch for. Files are archived confidentially for seven years.
Preparing for your first consultation
- Marriage certificate (sijil nikah for syariah matters) and both NRICs
- Children’s birth certificates, school details and current arrangements
- Property: title or loan statements; EPF statements; a rough list of savings, vehicles and debts
- Any existing court orders, police reports or agreements
- Three questions you most want answered — write them down; the hour goes quickly
