Porcelain Veneers
A veneer is a wafer of porcelain, layered by hand and bonded to the front of a tooth. Done well, it is the most refined way to change the shape, colour and symmetry of a smile at once.
Designed before anything is touched
Every veneer case at Lumara starts as a design, not a drill. We photograph and scan your smile, plan the proportions to your face, and mock the result up directly in your mouth so you can see and approve it before a single tooth is prepared.
As little as possible, as much as needed
We favour minimally invasive preparation — often little more than the enamel a veneer will replace, sometimes none at all. That keeps your own tooth underneath and means the result ages gracefully. Elise will always tell you honestly when bonding or alignment would be the kinder choice.
Made by a master ceramist
Our veneers are built up in layers by a single ceramist we have worked with for years, not milled to a flat shade. That is what gives porcelain its depth — the way real enamel catches light rather than glowing under it.

About porcelain veneers
Will they look fake?
Only if they are made to. We design to your face and your existing teeth, and our default is natural translucency, not a uniform bright white. You approve the trial smile before we commit.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With good hygiene and a night guard where needed, well-made veneers routinely last 10–15 years and often longer. Our ceramic work carries a 5-year guarantee.
Do I have to have my teeth filed to pegs?
No — that is an outdated technique we do not practise. We remove as little as possible, sometimes nothing, and will recommend alignment first if it means keeping more of your own tooth.
