Privacy (PDPA)

This Privacy Notice explains how Messrs Cheong, Rashid & Devan (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). This is a design mockup; the firm is fictional.

What we collect

When you contact us or engage the firm, we may collect your name, contact details, information about your family and assets, and any documents you provide, so that we can advise you and act on your instructions.

How we use it

To respond to enquiries, provide legal services, meet our professional and regulatory obligations, and administer our relationship with you. We do not sell your data.

Disclosure

We may disclose your data to courts, the Land Office, the Syariah Court, AmanahRaya, banks and other parties where necessary to carry out your matter, and to our professional advisers, always under a duty of confidentiality.

Retention & security

We keep files for as long as required by law and professional rules, then securely dispose of them. We apply appropriate safeguards to protect your data.
