Construction & Infrastructure

We advise on projects from ground-breaking to final account — and fight about them when necessary. The team is led by a chartered arbitrator with a doctorate in construction law, and appears in CIPAA adjudications and arbitrations nationwide.

How we help

  • CIPAA 2012 adjudication — claimant and respondent
  • Construction arbitration (AIAC, SIAC, ICC) and litigation
  • Contract drafting: PAM, PWD, FIDIC and bespoke EPC suites
  • Delay, disruption and quantum claims strategy
  • Performance bonds: calls, injunctions and disputes
  • Infrastructure concessions and project documentation

Selected experience

  • Defended a main contractor in consolidated CIPAA and arbitration proceedings exceeding RM 240 million on an urban rail project.
  • Advised a hyperscale data-centre developer on its EPC and long-lead equipment contract suite.
  • Acted for an employer in restraining an RM 32 million performance bond call, injunction upheld on appeal.
  • Counsel in a 14-week arbitration over marine piling failures at a port expansion.

Matter descriptions are anonymised and shared with client consent where required.
