Finally a personal item with real straps
Most underseat bags carry like a briefcase. This one has proper padding and a sternum strap, so walking across a city with it full is fine.
Great bag, tight on regional jets
Fits under most seats I have tried. On one small regional jet I had to put it under the seat sideways. The clamshell opening is the best part.

Wish the top handle was padded
Excellent organization and the fabric shrugs off rain. The top handle is plain webbing and digs in when the bag is heavy.
