How we treat acne & acne scars differently
Diagnosis before treatment
Your first visit is a consultation, not a procedure. The doctor grades your acne, checks for hormonal or medication triggers, and reviews everything currently touching your face. Many patients leave visit one with only a prescription and a simplified routine — because that’s the correct first step.
Prescription therapy as the backbone
Topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide combinations, and where appropriate oral therapy (antibiotics, hormonal treatment, or isotretinoin with proper blood monitoring). This is the part salons can’t offer, and it does most of the heavy lifting.
Procedures that accelerate, not replace
Medically-performed extraction facials to clear congestion, salicylic-acid peels for oil control, steroid injections for stubborn cysts, and LED phototherapy for inflammation — timed around your prescription plan.
Scar work only on quiet skin
Once you’ve been breakout-free for around three months, we map your scars and treat them on their merits: fractional CO2 laser for rolling and boxcar scars, subcision for tethered ones, and pico laser for the leftover brown marks.
