Avelia Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. (“Klinik Avelia”, “we”) collects and processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. This notice explains what we collect and why, in plain language.
What we collect
Booking details (name, contact number, email, preferred clinic and treatment interest) when you enquire or book; medical records created during your care, held to the standards of the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 and Malaysian Medical Council guidelines; and basic, anonymised website analytics.
How we use it
To schedule and deliver your care, maintain your medical record, contact you about your appointments, and — only with your separate consent — send occasional service updates. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Medical records
Clinical records are retained for the periods required by Malaysian law and MMC guidelines, stored on access-controlled systems available only to your treating clinicians and authorised staff. You may request a copy of your records at any branch with identity verification.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or withdraw consent for the processing of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements for medical records) by writing to care@klinikavelia.my or any branch manager. We respond within 21 days as required by the PDPA.
