Devan a/l Krishnan

Devan builds the structures that a will alone cannot — living trusts for young children and vulnerable heirs, insurance and property trusts, and succession plans for family businesses so that ownership passes without paralysing the company. He advises on the tax and RPGT consequences of passing assets on, and co-ordinates with accountants and bankers where an estate crosses borders. He joined the firm in 2016, completing the partnership as Cheong, Rashid & Devan.

Devan sits on the firm’s trust-review committee and leads business-succession engagements.
