Imran spent nineteen years in manufacturing, the last eight as operations director of a precision engineering firm supplying the aerospace supply chain — an environment where "roughly right" is not a phrase. He has run night shifts, survived two OEM audits with a day’s notice, and once personally drove a pallet of parts to Derby at 4am, which he now describes as "everything wrong with how I used to work, in one anecdote". He coaches owners of manufacturing, engineering, construction and trade businesses on turning owner-knowledge into systems that survive contact with a busy Tuesday.
