This notice explains how Kelawei Realty Sdn Bhd (Co. Reg. No. 201101019876 (947233-D)) collects and processes personal data, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What we collect
Your name, contact details, and the information you give us about a property or a requirement. Where a transaction proceeds we will also hold identification details, proof of address and financial information required by the solicitors, the bank and the land office.
Why we hold it
- To answer your enquiry and to act for you on a sale, purchase, letting or tenancy.
- To comply with our obligations as a licensed estate agency under Act 242 and with anti-money-laundering requirements.
- To keep transaction records for the period the law requires.
Who we share it with
Only with those who need it to complete the transaction you have instructed us on: the other party’s agent, the solicitors, the bank, the valuer, the developer where relevant, and the land office. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to third-party marketers.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for two years from the last contact. Transaction files are kept for seven years from completion, which is the retention period our professional and tax obligations require.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, limit how we process it, or withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Write to hello@kelaweirealty.com.my or to the Pulau Tikus office. We will respond within twenty-one days.

This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The tools on this site — the foreign buyer check, the offer-to-keys planner and the net rent calculator — run entirely in your browser, and nothing you type into them is sent to us or stored.
