How Brightside Dental & Kids collects, uses and protects your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Who we are
Brightside Dental Group Sdn. Bhd. (Company Reg. No. 201401019552 (1096744-T)), operating as Brightside Dental & Kids, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and at our clinics.
What we collect
When you book or enquire, we collect your name, contact details, preferred branch and any information you choose to share about your dental needs. At the clinic we keep clinical records as required for your care and by law. For children, we collect the parent or guardian’s details and consent.
How we use it
- To arrange, confirm and provide your dental care
- To contact you about appointments and follow-ups
- To keep accurate clinical and financial records as required by law
- To improve our service, where you have consented
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary for your care (for example a referral you have agreed to), with service providers bound by confidentiality, or where required by law or a regulator such as the Malaysian Dental Council.
Your rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal data, or ask us how it is used, by contacting us at hello@brightsidedental.com.my. We retain clinical records for the periods required by Malaysian law.
Children’s data
Personal data relating to a child is provided and consented to by a parent or legal guardian. We treat children’s records with particular care.
