A routine check-up is the cheapest dentistry you will ever have, because it catches problems while they are still small. We examine every tooth, your gums, your bite and your soft tissues, then clean away the plaque and tartar a toothbrush cannot reach.
What it costs
Adult check-up from RM90; scale & polish from RM120. New-patient exam with two small X-rays from RM160.
What a visit includes
- Full examination of teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues
- Oral-cancer soft-tissue screening
- Scaling to remove hardened tartar
- Polishing to lift surface stains
- Digital X-rays only when clinically needed
- A clear, itemised plan — with prices — for anything found
How often?
Most people do well with a check-up and clean every six months. If you are prone to gum disease or staining we may suggest more frequent cleans; if your mouth is very healthy we will happily tell you to come back in a year. We never invent treatment.
Honest pricing
A check-up is from RM90 and a scale-and-polish from RM120. You will always be told the cost before anything is done, and there is no charge for a second opinion on a plan from another clinic.
Common questions
Do I really need X-rays every visit?
No. We take X-rays only when there is a clinical reason — for example to check between teeth or under an old filling. We follow the principle of as few as reasonably needed.
My gums bleed when I brush — is that normal?
Bleeding gums are common but not normal; they are usually an early sign of gum inflammation that a clean and better brushing will reverse. Mention it and we will show you exactly what to change.
