For children
Children’s dentistry
A first visit your child looks forward to.
Children are not small adults, and they should not be treated like them. Our kids’ care is led by Dr. Nurul Aina, a registered paediatric-dentistry specialist, and every branch has a play corner and a dedicated child-friendly surgery. We use “tell–show–do”, avoid scary words, and never rush a nervous child.
What it costs
Children’s check-up from RM60. First-visit “happy visit” for under-4s is complimentary.
When should my child first see a dentist?
The guidance is “first tooth, first birthday” — by around age one, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are short and playful: a ride in the chair, a count of the teeth, and a chat with you about feeding and brushing. Starting early is the single best way to prevent fear later.
What we do for children
- Gentle check-ups and a tooth count
- Cleaning and fluoride application
- Fissure sealants to protect new adult molars
- Tooth-coloured fillings when needed
- Habit advice (thumb-sucking, bottle, diet)
- Early bite checks, with referral to our orthodontist if useful
- Care for children with additional needs
The “happy visit”
For under-4s and anxious first-timers we offer a complimentary happy visit — no treatment, just a friendly introduction so the clinic becomes a familiar, safe place. It is the reason so many Brightside children grow up without dental fear.

Common questions
Will it hurt?
A check-up never hurts. If a tooth needs treating, we numb gently and go at your child’s pace — and we stop the moment they need a break. We would rather build trust over two visits than rush one.
Can I stay with my child?
Absolutely. Parents and guardians are welcome in the surgery, and for younger children we encourage it.
