Healthy gums are the foundation of healthy teeth.
Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults, and it is usually painless until it is advanced. The good news is that caught early it is very treatable, and even established disease can be stabilised.

Common questions
Can gum disease be cured?
Early gum inflammation (gingivitis) is fully reversible. More advanced gum disease (periodontitis) cannot be reversed, but it can be halted and managed so you keep your teeth — the key is starting treatment and keeping up maintenance cleans.
