An implant is a small titanium post placed in the jaw to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once it has integrated, a crown is fitted on top — a replacement that looks, feels and functions like a natural tooth and does not touch the teeth either side.

Single implant with crown from RM5,500–RM8,000. Assessment and 3D imaging quoted at consultation.

The process
After a 3D assessment of your bone, Dr. Wong places the implant under local anaesthetic. It heals for a few months while it fuses to the bone, then the crown is added. We will give you a full plan and timeline with costs up front.
Common questions
Is the surgery painful?
Placing an implant is usually more comfortable than people expect and is done under local anaesthetic. Most patients take simple pain relief for a day or two afterwards.
