Gentle care
If the dentist frightens you, read this
Dental anxiety is common, real, and nothing to be embarrassed about. A lot of how Enara works — the pace, the time, the explaining — exists precisely for patients who dread the chair.
Tell us before you arrive
When you book, just say you’re anxious. We note it, allow extra time, and there’s no need to explain again when you come in.
A talk before any treatment
Your first visit can be a conversation in a normal room, not the chair — meet us, ask anything, and leave with a plan and no treatment at all if you prefer.
An agreed stop signal
Raise your hand and we stop, every time, no questions. Knowing you can pause is often enough to make the whole thing manageable.
We explain, then we do
Nothing happens by surprise. We tell you what you’ll feel and hear before it happens, and check in as we go.
Sedation when it helps
For suitable procedures we offer sedation so you feel relaxed and remember little. We’ll talk through whether it’s right for you.
No judgement, ever
It doesn’t matter how long it’s been or what state your teeth are in. We’ve seen it, we’re not shocked, and we’re glad you came.

Your gentle-care lead
Dr. Yasmin Iskandar
Yasmin leads Enara’s gentle-care approach for anxious and first-time patients. She books longer appointments on purpose, explains before she does, and uses an agreed stop signal so you are always in control of the chair. Much of the studio’s family and children’s dentistry is in her hands.
