Crowns & bridges
Custom ceramic crowns rebuild a damaged tooth to full strength; bridges span a gap using the teeth on either side.

What they are
A crown is a custom cap that covers and protects a tooth that is heavily filled, cracked or root-treated, restoring its shape and strength. A bridge replaces a missing tooth by joining crowns on the neighbouring teeth. We use high-strength, natural-looking ceramics matched to your other teeth.
When you need one
Crowns are usually advised after root canal treatment, for large old fillings that keep breaking, or for cracked teeth. Where a tooth is missing, an implant is often the better long-term choice than a bridge because it spares the neighbours — we will lay out both routes and their costs so you can choose.
How we do it
- The tooth is prepared and precisely scanned.
- A natural-looking temporary is fitted.
- Your ceramic crown or bridge is crafted in the laboratory.
- We fit, adjust the bite and bond it at the second visit.
Common questions
Crown or implant for a missing tooth?
A bridge (using crowns) is quicker and cheaper but involves the healthy neighbouring teeth. An implant costs more upfront but stands alone and protects the jawbone. We explain both honestly.
