Website terms & disclaimer

Short, because the point is simple: this website informs, it does not advise.

1. General information only

Everything on this website — pages, briefs, FAQs and the interactive tools — is general information about Malaysian employment and industrial relations law. It is not legal advice, does not account for your facts and documents, and must not be relied on as a substitute for advice on your specific matter.

2. No solicitor-client relationship

Using this site, running a tool, sending an enquiry or messaging us on WhatsApp does not create a solicitor-client relationship. That relationship arises only when a conflict check has cleared and both you and the firm have signed an engagement letter. Until then, do not send us confidential documents.

3. Deadlines are unforgiving

Employment law runs on short, absolute limits — most notably the sixty-day window under section 20 of the Industrial Relations Act 1967, which no authority can extend. Nothing on this site pauses, extends or computes your deadline authoritatively; only advice on your documents can. If in doubt, treat the earliest arguable date as the operative one and act now.

4. Tools

The termination letter check and severance calculator apply statutory scales and court conventions in general terms, in your browser. Outcomes in real matters turn on contracts, schemes and evidence the tools cannot see. Their outputs are illustrations, not entitlements, valuations or promises of recovery.

5. Liability and accuracy

We keep the site current with reasonable care but the law changes and errors are possible; to the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for reliance on site content without engagement. Links to statutes and external resources are provided for convenience without endorsement.

6. Regulation

All lawyers of the firm are Advocates & Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya, regulated by the Malaysian Bar under the Legal Profession Act 1976. This website is maintained in accordance with the Legal Profession (Publicity) Rules 2001 — which is why you will find directory commentary here, and no client testimonials.
