What it is like

This stretch of coast is the engine of the island rental market. A genuine full sea view still commands a premium of roughly RM120 psf over the same unit facing the hill, and it lets faster. The stock is deep enough that a buyer can be patient. What separates a good block from a bad one here is almost never the lobby: it is the management corporation, the state of the sinking fund and whether the block has had its external repainting cycle done.
