One leader, two or three shifts, six to nine months
Executive coaching
A single leader, a Stakeholder Read, fortnightly working sessions, and a sponsor who gets progress without getting your transcripts.
What it includes
- A free 30-minute chemistry call with up to three coaches before anything is signed
- Eight to twelve confidential stakeholder interviews, themed and de-identified
- A one-page three-way Working Contract signed by coachee, sponsor and coach
- Fortnightly 90-minute working sessions, in the North Loop or on video
- Reasonable between-session contact — a call before the board meeting is included, not billed
- A mid-point three-way review and a closing Impact Readout (themes only)
- Psychometric debrief available as an add-on (Hogan, Leadership Circle Profile or EQ-i 2.0)
What actually changes
Coaching that works is boringly concrete. By the end of the Stakeholder Read we can usually name the two or three behaviours that, if they moved, would change how this leader is experienced — the interruption in meetings, the decision that keeps getting re-opened, the escalation that never happens until it is a crisis.
Those go on the Behaviour Ledger, and the ledger is open on the table at every session. We start each session with what happened when you tried, and we end with what you will do before the next one. If a shift has not moved in eight weeks, we change the approach.
What your sponsor sees
Attendance, progress against the Working Contract, and the themes from the mid-point and closing readouts. Not what you said. Not what your stakeholders said about anyone in particular. Not your psychometric profile, which belongs to you.
We say this in the three-way contracting session, in front of everyone, so nobody has to wonder later.
Who it is for
- A leader whose job has changed shape faster than their habits have
- A strong operator whose feedback has started to name the same thing twice
- Someone the organisation is investing in ahead of a bigger seat
Who it is not for
- A performance process wearing a coaching costume. If the real decision has been made, we will say so and decline.
- A leader who has been sent. We run the chemistry call without the sponsor for exactly this reason.

Questions people ask about executive coaching
Can I change coach?
Yes, once, at any point in the first two months, with no fee and no explanation required. It happens perhaps twice a year and it is nobody's failure.
Do sessions have to be in person?
No. Roughly half our engagements run entirely on video. If you are in Minneapolis we usually suggest the first session and the mid-point in the room.
What if my sponsor wants more detail than that?
They will not get it. That has never once cost us a client — sponsors who understand coaching are relieved to hear the boundary stated plainly.
Chemistry call
Start with a conversation, not a contract
Thirty minutes with up to three coaches, free, with no sponsor in the room. You choose who you work with — we never assign.
