Privacy policy

Auvera Dental Pty Ltd (ABN 51 624 883 205) collects and handles personal information — including health information — in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic).

What we collect

Contact details, medical and dental histories, clinical records, imaging, photographs taken under our records protocol, and health fund details you provide for claiming. Clinical photographs are used in our gallery or teaching only with your separate written consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

How it’s used and shared

Your information is used to provide dental care, claim on your behalf through HICAPS, and communicate about your treatment. It is shared only with practitioners involved in your care (including any second-opinion practitioner you nominate), our in-house laboratory, and where required by law. We do not sell or share your details for marketing.

Storage, access and correction

Records are stored on encrypted systems hosted in Australia. You may request access to or correction of your records at any time via hello@auveradental.com.au. Records are retained as required by Victorian health records law.
