How it works at Auvera

Dr Priya Raman plans every Invisalign case from a digital scan, and you see the projected result — tooth by tooth, week by week — before you commit. Aligners change weekly; check-ins run every 6–8 weeks, with remote photo reviews between visits so you are not driving to Armadale for a two-minute look.

Fees are staged by complexity: Invisalign Lite (minor crowding, 5–8 months) from $4,900; comprehensive cases $7,900–$9,400 including refinements and your first set of retainers. Whitening at the end of alignment is deliberately sequenced — moved teeth reveal surfaces that were hiding from your toothbrush for years.

Alignment before porcelain

The quiet secret of good cosmetic dentistry: aligning teeth first often halves the number of veneers a smile needs, or removes the need entirely. It is the slower route and we will always tell you when it is the better one — Case No. 102 asked for a wedding-deadline veneer set and left six months later with her own teeth, aligned and whitened.

How long does Invisalign take?

Minor crowding: 5–8 months. Comprehensive movement: 12–18. The digital plan gives you a realistic end date before you start — and we quote the honest one, not the brochure one.

Do I have to wear retainers forever?

Nightly at first, then a few nights a week — indefinitely. Teeth drift for life; retention is the price of keeping the result. Your first set is included.

Will aligners affect how I speak?

A slight lisp for the first few days is common and disappears as your tongue adapts.
