What this tool is (and isn’t)
The Smile Designer is a conversation starter — a way to discover whether you lean Natural or Square Bold, B1 or A2, before you’re holding a shade tab in a chair. It is deliberately not a simulation of your own teeth: honest previews of your smile require calibrated photography and a physical trial smile, both of which happen at the studio.
What it captures well is vocabulary. Patients who arrive saying “brighter, but I don’t want them to look done” leave the tool saying “Natural style, B1, balanced length, characterised edges” — and that brief travels straight into your consultation notes.
From sketch to porcelain
At the consultation your brief meets reality: your face, your lip line, your enamel. The design is sculpted over your teeth in resin — the trial smile — and only after it survives a weekend of real life does Sofia fire the porcelain version. Every step keeps your veto.
