The Auvera difference

Every implant case here is planned by Dr Theo Marchetti, a registered specialist prosthodontist — from 3D imaging and placement planning through to the crown Sofia layers against your neighbouring teeth under three different lights. The from-$5,950 fee covers the implant, surgical placement, the final crown and reviews; complex grafting, where needed, is quoted before anything begins, never discovered on an invoice.

Timeline honesty: an implant is a 3–6 month project, because titanium and bone fuse on biology’s schedule, not marketing’s. A temporary solution keeps the gap invisible throughout.

Risks, stated plainly

Implants have a 95%+ ten-year success rate in healthy non-smokers — and materially worse odds in heavy smokers and uncontrolled diabetics, which we will discuss frankly. Surgical placement carries the standard risks of any oral surgery. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks; a second opinion from an appropriately qualified practitioner is always reasonable, and we will provide your imaging to support one.

How much does a dental implant cost in Melbourne?

City-wide, roughly $5,500–$8,000 for a straightforward single tooth including the crown. Auvera starts at $5,950 all-in, specialist-planned, with grafting (if required) quoted upfront.

Does getting an implant hurt?

Placement is done under local anaesthetic (sedation available) and most patients report less discomfort than the extraction that preceded it.

Am I too old for implants?

Age is almost never the barrier — bone volume, gum health and smoking status are. Theo has placed implants for patients in their eighties.
