Collection No. 09 — The maintenance
Preventive care
Cosmetic dentistry you don’t maintain is money on a countdown. Hygiene at Auvera protects the investment — and the teeth underneath it.
What a visit includes
An hour with Jade Whitfield, our oral health therapist: ultrasonic scale, air polish (kind to porcelain margins and bonding, unlike coarse pastes), gum charting, and photographs against your baseline so drift is caught in millimetres, not disasters. Examinations with your dentist run alongside at the interval your risk actually warrants — six-monthly for most, quarterly for gum-history patients.
Health funds with extras cover typically rebate a meaningful portion of item 011/114/121 visits; we claim on the spot through HICAPS so you only pay the difference.
Fair questions
Do veneers need special cleaning?
Normal brushing and flossing, plus professional maintenance that respects porcelain margins — one of the quiet reasons to have hygiene where your veneers were made.
Why photographs at every hygiene visit?
Because gum lines and edge wear move slowly. Millimetre-tracked photography turns “I think it looks the same” into evidence.
