THE OPERATOR YEARS
Sam opened his first restaurant in the Northern Quarter at 27 and grew the group to four sites and 85 staff, trading through energy shocks, wage inflation and two refits, before selling the leases in 2021.
He coaches the businesses everyone else finds hard: hospitality, leisure, salons, gyms — anywhere the product is a shift delivered well, margins live or die on rota discipline, and the owner is usually on the floor.
Sam leads the Sales discipline across Fellside: enquiry handling, conversion habits and the uncomfortable art of asking for the order. ILM Level 5 qualified and an Association for Coaching member.
