Children's health
Appointments for children with a GP who holds the Diploma in Child Health. Under-2s get 45 minutes.
GP, children and families
Hannah holds the Diploma in Child Health and sees most of our under-16s. She is a member of the PVG scheme, as is every member of staff here who works with children.
She keeps the longest appointments in the building for babies, because undressing a nine-month-old takes as long as examining one. She is comfortable with the appointment where the child is entirely well and the parent needs to hear it from someone.
She also runs a share of our travel clinic, which suits families booking a long trip with children in tow.
“A worried parent who has been listened to goes home with something useful. A worried parent who has been rushed comes back on Saturday.”
