The method

What the checker looks at

We inspect the server-returned HTML
We request the page without executing browser JavaScript and inspect the text and metadata returned by the server. This shows what is immediately available to a simple crawler, but it is not an exact simulation of every search or AI system.

We check crawler access, and what each crawler controls
Googlebot governs Google Search, including the AI features inside it such as AI Overviews and AI Mode. OAI-SearchBot governs discovery in ChatGPT Search. PerplexityBot and Claude-SearchBot cover their own search indexes. GPTBot is for OpenAI model training. Google-Extended controls certain Gemini training and grounding uses, but it does not affect inclusion or ranking in Google Search.

We check how clearly the page identifies itself
Clear business information, useful answer sections, visible text, and relevant dates or authorship where appropriate. These improve clarity for anything reading the page, and they do not guarantee an AI citation.

What this tool does not measure
This checker does not run live prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity, so it does not measure your share of mentions. It measures the readiness signals on the page you gave us.

No, it checks technical and content readiness on one page. It does not query ChatGPT and cannot tell you how often your business appears across different prompts.

Yes, publishers may intentionally restrict certain uses of their content. The important thing is knowing which crawler you are blocking and what it does.

No. The checker reads the HTML returned by your server but does not run browser JavaScript. Content rendered only after the page loads will be missing.

Fix missing server-returned text and unintended crawler blocks first. Then make the business name, service, location and page answer clear in visible copy. The checker identifies readiness issues on one page and cannot promise inclusion in an AI answer.

The AI visibility checker can reveal content and technical gaps that also affect search, but it cannot guarantee a ranking or inclusion in an AI Overview.
