About the role

Most of this work is judged on a phone screen in under a second, so the craft is in what survives at that size. Clear idea, one message, readable type.

You work inside client brands rather than your own, and you produce volume: a campaign needs several angles to test, not one perfect execution.

This listing stays up while the role is open, and every application is read.

People in this role work on Seed Light's Branding projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design ad creatives for Meta and Google campaigns, in sets for testing
  • Design social graphics that hold up on a phone screen
  • Build simple brand kits: logo use, colours, type, templates
  • Produce the assets a landing page or a pitch needs
  • Keep files tidy so anyone can pick them up

Requirements

  • A portfolio with real client work in it
  • You can work inside an existing brand rather than only your own taste
  • Figma, plus Illustrator or Photoshop
  • You design for the format rather than for the portfolio shot
  • You can turn around a variation set quickly

Nice to have

  • You have designed ads that ran, and seen which ones performed
  • You can animate a simple version for video placements
  • You have built template systems for a non-designer to use

Tools

Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, CapCut. The licences and subscriptions the job needs are paid for, and knowing every one of these already is not expected.

Your first three months

  • Month 1. Creative sets for live campaigns, inside existing client brands.
  • Month 2. You own the creative pipeline for a set of accounts.
  • Month 3. You build the brand kits and templates that keep client output consistent.

Questions about this role

Questions candidates usually ask before applying. If yours is not here, add it to the message box on the form.

The graphic designer role focuses mainly on advertising and social creative, with brand kits for clients who arrive without one. Your application should show how you approach either advertising creative or brand design in practice and explain the decisions behind the finished work.

The graphic designer produces enough creative to test several angles for each offer. Send a relevant work sample that shows how you handled that volume, how you kept the versions meaningfully different and what you learned from the finished set.

The brief provides the offer, audience, goal and any brand rules. The graphic designer decides how those inputs become a clear visual and explains choices when needed. Missing information is raised before the design moves too far.

Print work appears occasionally when clients need signage, menus or a leaflet alongside their digital work. Those projects form a small part of the year, so the role includes print design without making it the main focus of the work.

A client without a brand receives a small kit that a non-designer can use. You put together the type, colour, spacing and a few templates, giving the client a practical set of basics they can work with without needing design skills.
